TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General Terms & Conditions that apply to all orders placed through Plastik Record Store (hereinafter the Seller) webshop. Placing an order means the customer agrees to the terms.
The Seller operates a small independent record store selling both new and second-hand vinyl records.
1. Seller Information

2. Scope of Application
2.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between the Seller and the customer (hereinafter the Customer).
2.2 By placing an order in the webshop, the Customer confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms.
2.3 The contract is concluded in accordance with Estonian law, including the Law of Obligations Act (Võlaõigusseadus).
3. Products
3.1 The webshop sells:
- New / sealed vinyl records
- Second-hand (used) vinyl records
3.2 Second-hand records are sold individually and may show signs of normal wear.
3.3 The condition of used records is described using standard vinyl grading (e.g. NM, VG+, VG, G). Grading is subjective but done carefully and in good faith. As minor imperfections exist, especially for used records, our listings are described as accurately as possible.
Condition grading (very important):
● New / Sealed
Factory sealed and unopened
No wear, handling, or signs of use
Original shrink wrap or seal intact
Item is exactly as it left the manufacturer
● Mint (M)
Perfect condition; looks brand new
No visible flaws, marks, wear, or defects
Never used or handled beyond manufacturing
Extremely rare for older or vintage items
● Near Mint (NM)
Nearly perfect with very minimal signs of handling
No major defects, damage, or wear
Any imperfections are extremely minor and only visible on close inspection
Clean, well-preserved, and carefully handled
● Very Good Plus (VG+)
Light signs of use but well cared for
Minor cosmetic wear such as small marks, light scuffs, or slight edge wear
No major damage or functional issues
Overall clean and attractive appearance
● Very Good (VG)
Clearly used with noticeable wear
May show hairline scratches, scuffs, creases, or edge wear
Still fully functional / readable / playable
Cosmetic flaws do not overpower the item
● Good (G)
Heavy wear from regular use
Obvious marks, scratches, creases, or fading
May have small tears, writing, or other flaws
Fully intact and usable, but condition is well-worn
3.4 Product photos are illustrative unless the description states that the photo shows the exact item.
4. Prices
4.1 All prices are shown in euros (EUR).
4.2 Prices include VAT and taxes where applicable.
4.3 Shipping costs are added during checkout and shown before payment.
4.4 The Seller reserves the right to correct obvious pricing errors.
5. Ordering and Payment
5.1 Orders are placed via the webshop.
5.2 A sales contract is considered concluded once the Seller has received the payment.
5.3 Accepted payment methods are listed in the webshop.
5.4 If an ordered item is unavailable due to stock error, the Seller will inform the Customer and refund the payment without delay.
6. Delivery
6.1 The Seller ships to the destinations listed in the webshop.
6.2 Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed.
6.3 Vinyl records are packed carefully. Our records are carefully packaged in high-quality record mailers with additional padding.
6.4 Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer upon delivery of the goods.
6.5 Any customs duties or import taxes for shipments outside the EU are the responsibility of the Customer.
7. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
7.1 According to EU law, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods.
7.2 To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify the Seller by email within 14 days.
7.3 Limitations
- New / sealed records must be returned unopened and in original condition.
- Second-hand records may be returned only if they are significantly not as described.
7.4 The Customer bears the return shipping costs.
7.5 Refunds are issued within 14 days after the returned item is received, using the original payment method.
8. Defective or Incorrect Items
8.1 If the record is defective (e.g. warped, pressing defect) or not as described, the Customer must contact the Seller within a reasonable time, preferably within 3 days of receipt.
8.2 The Seller may offer:
- Replacement
- Refund
- Partial refund
8.3 Minor surface noise or age-related wear on second-hand records does not automatically constitute a defect.
9. Cancellations
9.1 Orders may be cancelled before shipment by contacting the Seller.
9.2 Once the order has been shipped, the right of withdrawal applies instead.
10. Liability
10.1 The Seller is liable in accordance with Estonian law.
10.2 The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or force majeure.
10.3 Liability is limited to the value of the purchased goods.
11. Data Protection
11.1 The Seller processes personal data only for order fulfillment and customer communication.
11.2 Personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR and Estonian data protection laws. Customer data is used only for order processing.

12. Intellectual Property
12.1 All content on the webshop (texts, images, logos) is the property of the Seller unless stated otherwise.
12.2 Content may not be used without prior written consent.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
13.2 Disputes shall be resolved by negotiation.
14. Amendments
14.1 The Seller may update these Terms and Conditions.
14.2 The version valid at the time of order applies.
